Hey, I'm Hayden July Doerr.
I have over 10 years of experience working in the audio engineering and media production industry. Currently, I am the Founder and CEO of July Media Labs, which is a podcast and media production company based out of Dallas, Texas.
I decided to focus on podcast production after years of recording, mixing, and mastering metal music and suddenly having the question of “Why do so many podcasts that I love SOUND horrible?!”
So then I realized that If I can record, mix, and master music, then maybe I can improve the sound of podcasts if I treat them like I treat professional music recordings! I then transitioned my business from recording music into focusing on podcast production, and July Media Labs was born.
Fun Facts
- I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and love to write and record music.
- I would describe my house’s interior decor as “Fixer Upper but Chip and Joanna Shopped at Hot Topic”
- I live on 12 acres with my family in a house next to my sister’s house.
- I have over 150 hours of tattooing on my body.
- The Incredible Hulk has been my favorite superhero my entire life and I am still obsessed with him to this day.
- I have been training in Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 15 years.
- I worked and learned the art of audio engineering at a major recording studio where Pantera, Destiny’s Child, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and many more incredible artists recorded.
